Biography[]

Background[]

Axel Baratheon is an early member of House Baratheon, being the firstborn son of Orys Baratheon.[1] He married Alanna Penrose at roughly the age of 18. He was killed at the age of 42 at Gallowsgrey in a duel with Steffon Trant, who had dishonored his wife.[b]

Game of Thrones: Season 1[]

He has an entry in The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, which notes the fact that he, along with all of his ancestors and descendants were born "black of hair".[1]
