Baelish is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He is deceased when the events of the series begin. He is not expected to appear in the series. He was the founder of House Baelish. He is the great-grandfather of major character Petyr Baelish.


He was a sellsword from Braavos who traveled to The Vale of Arryn at the invitation of House Corbray. Once there he founded House Baelish.[1]

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, his story is the same.
