Bryan Cogman (born 25 July 1979) is an American scriptwriter. He previously worked on the short-lived series My Own Worst Enemy as a writing assistant.
Cogman worked on the Game of Thrones pilot as a writing assistant and on the full series as a script-editor and writer. He has also written the fourth episode of the first season and serves as the unofficial 'keeper of the mythos' for the show. He also wrote the series bible outlining character and background information.
