James Sebastian Faulkner (born 18 July 1948) is an actor who has been cast as Randyll Tarly in the sixth season.
Recently Faulkner has been well-known for playing Lord Sinderby on Downton Abbey, and also Pope Sixtus IV on Da Vinci's Demons.
Over his long career Faulkner has appeared in X-Men: First Class, MI-5, Tatort, Highlander, La Femme Nikita, Covington Cross and The Hound of the Baskervilles (Granada). He also appeared in Bridget Jones's Diary and its sequel.
Faulkner notably co-starred in the classic series I, Claudius as Herod Agrippa (George R.R. Martin has said that he is a huge fan of I, Claudius).
