This image is a composite of screenshots from the Season 1 episode, "Fire and Blood". The image is copyrighted by HBO. This image is used with the permission of HBO but on the understanding that it can be removed at any time.
The image shows a continuity error in the number of Kingsguard present in the throneroom. There are only seven Kingsguard at a time, though Joffrey and Cersei fired Barristan Selmy two episodes ago and replaced him with Sandor Clegane. Even so, Jaime Lannister is not in the capital, meaning there can be no more than six Kingsguards in the scene.
Instead, no fewer than NINE Kingsguard are depicted as being in the throneroom. There should never be more than seven, and physically no more than six should be present at the time.
The problem resulted in editing: no more than five Kingsguards are ever present within a single frame. Five Kingsguards are present when the camera is pointed at Joffrey on the Iron Throne, while four more Kingsguards are shown guarding the main entrance when the camera switches to show the crowd in the courtroom.
