In "A Man Without Honor" Robb faces dissent from his bannermen because their prisons are overflowing. Lord Rickard Stark reports that Alton Lannister's cell has been filled because of an influx of prisoners from the Yellow Fork. This location has not been mentioned in the books to my knowledge. Later in the same scene Talisa arrives in bloodied field medic dress and says that she has been treating Robb's wounded. This seems to me to indicate that Robb has recently won another battle in the war at the Yellow Fork. What do my fellow editors think about starting articles for Yellow Fork and Battle of the Yellow Fork?--Opark 77 22:11, May 20, 2012 (UTC)

I think we should, but do we have enough information about the place.--Mesmermann 22:28, May 20, 2012 (UTC)
We now have both Yellow Fork and Battle of the Yellow Fork. Both are limited by the paucity of information available but hopefully still of some interest.--Opark 77 15:48, May 30, 2012 (UTC)
I agree that the name was pretty clearly stated in the episode. I have the running theory that this is intended as a stand-in for the "Battle of Ashemark" (minor victory between Oxcross and the Crag), but they thought TV viewers would confuse it with the "Battle of Ashford" from Robert's Rebellion.--The Dragon Demands 02:54, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
And I guess the Yellow Fork stands in for the Tumblestone, the only tributary of the Trident that is born in the Westerlands, north of Ashemark.--Gonzalo84 16:57, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
Actually, given that "Tumblestone" already appears on maps, it would appear to be distinct from this "Yellow Fork" -- my own theory was that, given that maps show the Tumblestone originating from two tributaries (one of which may be the "Tumblestone" proper), I thought that we might take "Yellow Fork" to be one of the tributaries of the Tumblestone within the Westerlands, not the Tumblestone itself. --The Dragon Demands 22:03, July 11, 2012 (UTC)
