Harrion Karstark is an unseen character mentioned in the second season. Harrion Karstark is the eldest son of Rickard Karstark, Lord of Karhold and head of House Karstark. He fought alongside his father for King Robb Stark in the War of the Five Kings and is killed at the beginning of the war.

Lord Rickard attempts to justify his killing of Willem and Martyn Lannister as vengeance for the deaths of Harrion and Torrhen although Robb Stark does not accept his rational and executes him for murder.[2]
When Theon Greyjoy is first tortured after being handed over by his own men at Winterfell, he is made to guess where he is and who is torturing him. Instead of correctly naming Ramsay Snow at the Dreadfort, Theon guesses Harrion Karstark at Karhold and that he is being tortured because of his treachery to Robb Stark. Theon is unaware that House Karstark had abanonded Robb Stark's cause after Robb executed Rickard Karstark for murdering Willem and Martyn Lannister in revenge for the deaths of Harrion and Torrhen Karstark.
