In the books

In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, House Flint of Widow's Watch is a noble house from Widow's Watch in the east of the north. They are probably the most powerful branch of House Flint. While the Flints of the mountains claim to be the oldest of the Flints, a semi-canon source states the Flints of Widow's Watch are the senior branch of the extended Flint family, which includes the mountain Flints and House Flint of Flint's Finger.

Neither their arms or their words appear in the text. A semi-canon source blazons their banner as a blue field strewn with whitecaps, on a yellow chief with crested line a pair of blue eyes and gives their motto as "Ever Vigilant".

Lady Lyessa Flint is the head of the house. She makes no appearance in the novels, only mentioned very briefly.

Robin Flint, Lyessa's son, is one of Robb Stark's personal guards. He is killed in the Red Wedding by a group of Freys.
