"House Frey"[3] is the fifth short of the third season of Histories & Lore. It is the forty-eighth short of the series overall. It was released on February 18, 2014 in Game of Thrones: The Complete Third Season. It was narrated by Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark and written by Dave Hill.

Premise

Catelyn Stark tracks House Frey's quick rise to wealth and power through control of the Crossing, as well as their reputation under the prickly and resentful Lord Walder Frey.[3]

Narration

Centuries ago, its founder looked at a map and noticed how the Trident spears the Neck, cutting off the North from the South. He realized that a river of gold would flow to the man who owned the right bridge across the water.
