House Gargalen[a] of Salt Shore is a vassal house which holds fealty to House Martell of Dorne. Their seat is at Salt Shore, the southernmost castle in Westeros. House Gargalen's heraldry is a red cockatrice on a gold field.

Joffrey mentions Salt Shore to Sansa, saying how lords will travel to their wedding from Last Hearth in the north to Salt Shore in the south.[1]

A House Gargalen banner is seen amongst the delegation of Dornish lords who accompany Prince Oberyn Martell to King's Landing.[2]
