House Merryweather of Long Table is a vassal house from the Reach that held fealty to House Tyrell of Highgarden until its extinction. Their seat is Long Table.
In the Books
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, House Merryweather was once a rich and powerful family. Aerys II Targaryen stripped the Merryweathers from their lands and exiled Lord Owen Merryweather for his failures as Hand of the King to prevent Robert's Rebellion. When Robert Baratheon seized the Iron Throne he restored their title and some of their lands but the family's wealth and status has not yet completely recovered.
