House of the Undying

"Is this a riddle?"

The House of the Undying is a location in Qarth. It is the gathering place for the Warlocks of Qarth.

Daenerys, Ser Jorah Mormont and Kovarro reach the House of the Undying. While trying to figure out the maze inside, Jorah loses sight of Dany. She enters inside the house and with a flamed torch begins her journey to locate her dragons. She sees various illusions along the way. She sees the Iron Throne and the charred remains of the room it is in. She next is seen leaving the White Wall in a snowy storm. She next enters a tent where she sees her beloved Drogo and deceased, stillborn son Rhaego. She knows it is merely an illusion and must force herself to continue on. She finds her dragons chained, and soon Pyat Pree chains Daenerys up by her arms as well. The warlock states that the dragons enhance their power and that her presence enhances them as well.

Daenerys speaks to her dragon, who begins to breathe fire -- burning the warlock and freeing her of her chains.
