Jason Momoa (born August 1, 1979) is an American actor and model. He is best-known for playing the role of Ronon Dex for four years on Stargate Atlantis. He is also playing the title role in Conan, a new film depiction of the Conan the Barbarian character previously made famous by Arnold Schwarznegger.
He starred in Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo. He confirmed that he would be playing the role on 17 October 2009 at a convention in New Zealand. He was the last actor cast for the pilot, although not the last announced.
He has a cameo in the final episode of the second season. It was kept as a secret until the viewing of the episode.
