Jim Broadbent is an English actor who portrays Archmaester Ebrose in the upcoming Season 7 of Game of Thrones.[1][2]
Broadbent won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2001 for his role in Iris. He is probably best known for his role as Horace Slughorn in the Harry Potter film series (with David Bradley, Natalia Tena, Freddie Stroma and Michelle Fairley), as Digory Kirke in The Chronicles of Narnia, as Pod Clock in 1997's The Borrowers, as DCI Roy Slater in Only Fools and Horses, Moulin Rouge, Chief Inspector Frank Butterman in Hot Fuzz (alongside Rory McCann and David Bradley), and numerous roles in Blackadder (alongside Tim McInnerny and Patrick Malahide).
