Joseph Mawle (born 21 March 1974) is a British actor, best known for his portrayal of Jesus in The Passion. He has appeared in the television series Red Riding and Merlin. In 2012 he appeared in the BBC adaptation of Birdsong as World War I sapper Jack Firebrace.
In Game of Thrones Mawle is playing the role of Benjen Stark. He was confirmed in the role on 20 October 2009.
