The Lands of Always Winter are a region in Game of Thrones. They are a large subarctic wasteland in the far north of the continent of Westeros. They lie to the north east of the Wall and are beyond the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms. They are bordered by the Frostfangs mountains to their east and the Frozen Shore to their south east.[1]
In the books
In the Song of Ice and Fire novels the Lands of Always Winter are mostly unexplored. They are near the land of Thenn. The wildlings believe that the White Walkers come from this region.
