Lyonel Baratheon is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He is not expected to appear in the series, being long dead by the time it begins. Ser Lyonel Baratheon was a knight and member of House Baratheon. He is an ancestor of Robert, Stannis and Renly Baratheon.
Biography
Background
Lyonel Baratheon was a member of House Baratheon of Storm's End, one of the Great Houses of Westeros, and rulers of the Stormlands. He died at the age of forty-five.[1]
Season 1
He has an entry in the The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, as read by Eddard Stark.[2]
In the books
Lyonel Baratheon appears in The Hedge Knight, one of the stories in the Dunk and Egg series, which focuses on Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon V Targaryen during Aegon's time as Ser Duncan's squire. Ser Lyonel is known as "The Laughing Storm".
