Maegi are female practitioners of blood magic from Essos. The Dothraki hate and mistrust maegi. According to Mirri Maz Duur, the word means "wise".
Known Maegi
- {Mirri Maz Duur}, a Lhazareen godswife of the Great Shepherd. Burned alive in Khal Drogo's funeral pyre by Daenerys Targaryen.
