Max von Sydow is a Swedish-French actor.
In Game of Thrones, he will portray the Three-eyed raven in the sixth season, taking over the role from Struan Rodger.[1]
A veteran actor, von Sydow is perhaps best known for playing the title character in The Exorcist.
In late 2015, von Sydow is also set to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, in which Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth) will also appear.
