Mikken is a recurring background character in Game of Thrones. He is played uncredited by weapons master Boyd Rankin and debuts in the first episode of the first season. Mikken is the blacksmith at Winterfell. At Jon's request, he forged the sword Needle for Arya.
Biography
Season 1
Mikken assembles with the Winterfell household to receive King Robert Baratheon. He stands behind Maester Luwin.[1] Mikken forges the sword, Needle, for Jon Snow to give to his sister, Arya Stark.[2] Eddard Stark finds Arya with the sword and recognises Mikken's makers mark on it.[3]
