Monica Baratheon, nee Monica Velaryon is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. She is not expected to appear in the series, being long dead by the time it starts. She was a member of House Velaryon.
Biography
Background
Monica Velaryon was the wife of Orys Baratheon's firstborn son and mother of Reginald, Wilyam, Steffon, Padraic and Flynn Baratheon.
Season 1
She is referenced in her husband's entry of The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. The two married at Driftmark when he was seventeen.[1]
In the books
Monica Velaryon is mentioned only in the TV adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire and has no corresponding counterpart in the books. House Velaryon of Driftmark is a noble house from Blackwater Bay sworn to Dragonstone.
