Noah Taylor is an Australian actor. He has appeared in a number of well-known films including "Shine", "Almost Famous", "Vanilla Sky", "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Lawless". He also starred in the film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" with fellow "Game of Thrones" star Iain Glen.

In Game of Thrones, he played Locke, a renamed version of the popular character of Vargo Hoat from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. He joined the cast as a guest star in the third season.
