Nonso Anozie is an English actor. After several notable appearances on the London stage, his first film appearance was 2007's The Last Legion, in which his co-stars included Iain Glen, Owen Teale, Alexander Siddig, Robert Pugh, James Cosmo, Murray McArthur and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. Anozie's other films include Atonement, RocknRolla, Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, Conan the Barbarian, and Ender's Game.
On stage, he is noted for being one of the youngest actors to portray King Lear and won the Ian Charleson Award in 2005 for his portrayal of William Shakespeare's Othello.
In Game of Thrones he is playing the role of Xaro Xhoan Daxos and was officially announced in the role on 2 August 2011. He joined the cast as a guest star in the second season.
