Olyvar Frey is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He is one of the many sons of Walder Frey and is a squire to King Robb Stark.
Biography
Season 1
When Catelyn Stark negotiates with Walder Frey to gain permission for her son Robb Stark and his army to pass the The Twins, Walder demands (amongst others) that his son Olyvar will become squire to Robb, and that he will later be knighted. Robb accept these terms.[1]
In the books
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels, part of the bargain struck with Walder Frey is also that Robb takes on Olyvar as a squire, despite being older than Robb. Olyvar is the eighteenth son of Lord Walder overall and the fourth born to Lord Walder's sixth wife, Bethany Rosby. His three older brothers are Perwyn, Benfrey, Willamen, and his younger sister is Roslin.
Olyvar is considered as excellent squire who proved in battle his devotion to Robb and the Starks.
