Paul Engelen is a British makeup artist who has worked on dozens of major motion pictures. His credit list is lengthy, but some of the highlights include Empire of the Sun, Batman, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Gladiator, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince Caspian, and Robin Hood. Working as the makeup designer on Game of Thrones will mark one of the few times he has worked in television.

On 15 September 2012 he won a Creative Arts Emmy Award for his work on the second season of Game of Thrones[1].
