Template:Conjecture Paxter Redwyne is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He has only been mentioned in dialogue. He is the Lord of the Arbor and the head of House Redwyne.
Biography
Background
Paxter Redwyne is the Lord of the Arbor and the head of House Redwyne, a vassal family of House Tyrell of Highgarden.
In the books
In the Song of Ice and Fire novels, Lord Paxter Redwyne commands one of the largest fleets in the Seven Kingdoms. During Robert's Rebellion he participated in the Siege of Storm's End. He is married to his cousin Mina Tyrell, the sister of his liege Lord Mace Tyrell. By her he has two sons, Ser Horas and Ser Hobber and a daughter, Desmera.
During a discussion about Lord Petyr Baelish's brothels, Varys and Littlefinger discuss the sexual preferences of various members of the court, including Lord Redwyne's inclination for young boys.[1] No mention is made of his sexual preferences in the books. Given that Paxter is married with three children, and Varys only said "Lord Redwyne", he might have meant a different member of the Redwyne family, i.e. one living in King's Landing, as Paxter is at the Arbor.
