Qotho is a character in Game of Thrones. He is played by Dar Salim and debuts in the first season.
Qotho is a Dothraki bloodrider in the service of Khal Drogo. He is one of Drogo's closest allies and a stalwart warrior.
Season 1
Winter is Coming
Qotho accompanies Khal Drogo on his 'viewing' of his bride, Daenerys Targaryen.
A Golden Crown
When a drunken Viserys threatens Daenerys and her unborn child, Qotho breaks his arm and then restrains him whilst Drogo pours molten gold over his head, killing him.
You Win or You Die
Qotho is present when Drogo declares that he will lead the khalasar across the Narrow Sea and invade Westeros in vengeance for the attempted assassination of Daenerys.
Baelor
When Drogo's wound festers and he becomes seriously ill, Dany calls for Mirri Maz Duur. Mirri says that only bloodmagic can be of avail, and she needs to kill Drogo's horse in order to save Drogo. Qotho objects. A fight ensues; Qotho pushes Dany to the ground, provoking her to go into labour, and Ser Jorah Mormont tries to stop Qotho, and manages to kill him.
In the books
In the Song of Ice and Fire novels Qotho is a skilled warrior, but he is also considered to be cruel and malicious, the least-likable of Drogo's bloodriders.
