Season 3

Drogon protective S3E7

Drogon growls at Razdal to keep his distance.

He attempts to negotiate a peace with Daenerys Targaryen when she sets camp outside of Yunkai with the intent of taking the city. He is intimidated by her overly aggressive dragons (specifically Drogon), when he wanders to close. Razdal attempts to give Daenerys gold and ships, so that she may leave Yunkai alone and bother them no longer. However, Daenerys, fueled by her desire to see all slaves set free, commands that Razdal and the other Wise Masters free all the slaves in Yunkai and pay them for there years of service. Dumbfounded at the boldness of her request, he stands defiant that they will not bend to her threats, and retorts that Yunkai possess powerful allies who will be more than happy to see her destroyed. This threat dosent register well with Drogon, who furiously hisses at the him. He questions Daenery's promise of safety, she merely replies that she would not harm him, but that her Dragons made no promises. Fearing the situation, Razdal orders his slaves to take back the gold, but the enraged Drogon stands in there way. She pompously tells him that the gold is hers now, and advises him to leave. He furiously storms out of her tent, muttering curse words at her.
