Red Priests (or Red Priestesses if female) are the clergy in the faith of R'hllor. They receive their name for the red clothing they wear.
Given that Melisandre mocks the Silent Sisters of the Faith of the Seven for taking vows of celibacy, Red Priests and Priestesses apparently do not take such vows.[1]

- Thoros, from the Free City of Myr. Participated in the Siege of Pyke, fighting with a flaming sword.

She also seemed to know that Matthos Seaworth would die by Wildfire as she foreshadowed his fate to him before the battle. Melisandre also read Arya Stark's future simply by staring into her eyes.
