Saltshore, sometimes rendered as Salt Shore, is a castle in Dorne, the region controlled by House Martell of Sunspear. The castle is located on the southern coast of Dorne, on the Summer Sea.[1]
History
Season 1
Joffrey Baratheon claims that lords will come from all of Westeros, from the Last Hearth in the north to the Salt Shore in the south, will come to his and Sansa's wedding.[2]
In the books
In the A Song of Ice and Fire novels Saltshore is the seat of House Gargalen.
