Lady Whent is the first of the people who govern Harrenhal since the beginning of the series and come to a horrific end, presumably due to the alleged curse that is believed to cause the destruction of all the houses which hold the castle and the individuals who serve as its castellan.

In ''"A Feast for Crows"'', [[Littlefinger]] mentions that Lady Whent has reportedly died. The whereabouts and manner of death are unknown.
