I have the running theory that this is meant to stand in for the "Battle of Ashemark" (a minor victory following up on Oxcross but before the Crag), however, the TV producers thought it sounded too similar to "Asheford" from Robert's Rebellion, so they changed it. Its an interesting theory. They have only changed names for the sake of clarity with things they have clearly established in the context of the show to date e.g. Osha and Asha to Osha and Yara. I can't recall the Battle of Ashford being mentioned in the show.--Opark 77 07:41, May 31, 2012 (UTC)
