Split Edit

I propose this article be split into single articles for each video... or at least each topic. Its getting to cumbersome to read... Think what will happen in next seasons. And it would benefit from some images.--Gonzalo84 (talk) 05:04, January 3, 2013 (UTC)

I totally agree, it should be split up into different pages. Well, just finished another one, just four more left to go.Ch'vyalthan (talk) 05:07, January 3, 2013 (UTC)

I had meant to finish going through Season 1's Complete Guide in later Fall...but as you know, Ch'Vyalthan then slammed the brakes on this hole wiki. "Going through" means writing up a summary, noting every proper noun or concept mentioned in it, and lastly, making screencaps of things we didn't have images of before (i.e. "Children of the Forest"). For Season 1, I "exhausted" (read the print off of) all entries up to and including Valyria, and as about to start the War of Conquest. Now Season 2's Complete Guide is out (plus I'm slowed down by real-life work). I watched all of the Season 2 videos intently, writing down any proper noun or concept (plus anything "applicable" - i.e. they might not always state what "knighthood" is as a textbook definition, it is a "concept" in their world which we can describe, even if they don't drop the narrative to spell it out. Also, seeing names printed on maps in Season 1's Complete Guide allowed us to justify their inclusion on this wiki. Anyway, I believe I have gotten everything from Season 2 -- though I haven't had the time to make detailed summaries, or to make screencaps of things we haven't seen before. Same goes for the back half of Season 1 (War of Conquest onwards) -- or at least, I haven't checked, but after Valyria, they mostly rehash near-recent historical information we mostly already knew from the regular TV series (i.e. most of the major events of Robert's Rebellion). It will be good to finally finish with these things. But the Season 1 Complete Guide was a real rush, showing stuff we've never had artwork to visualize before like the Children of the Forest and Valyria. Well, that's where it stands at the moment.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 23:49, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Check out sandbox... all the summaries I rewrote (and some of Ch'vyalthan's crappy ones, it shouldn't be so hard to notice which is which), so you can pretty much copy-paste several of them. I think we should also place all of the different points of view about a certain event in single articles (for example: all the summaries of Robert's Rebellion in both season 1 and 2 bluray in a single "Robert's Rebellion (Complete Guide to Westeros)" article; likewise with the Greyjoy Rebellion and the Night's Watch videos)--Gonzalo84 (talk) 00:58, March 2, 2013 (UTC)
