Personal coat of arms[]

The teaser seems to have revealed a personal CoA for Daemon. --Potsk (talk) 10:08, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

...possibly. But let's wait for confirmation. Something weird is going on with the heraldry.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 22:27, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

Daemon's sigil in the family trees.[]

Exactly what it says, can someone add his personal sigil to the family tree like Maekar or Daemon III, or do we have to wait until HoTD actually comes out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Magma Productions (talkcontribs)

We usually wait for the show or one of the official extras before adding it though we did get a bit loose with that rule for the Stark children. But since the show was over by the time their personal sigils came out, they were left in place. Ser Shield McShield (talk) 21:12, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

Got it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Magma Productions (talkcontribs)

Claimant to Dragonstone[]

Is it fair to say that Daemon no longer claims the title Prince of Dragonstone? Also, on a similar note, does his conversation with Gerold Royce indicate that he formally claims to be Lord of Runestone, or, for the purposes of show canon, is that jumping the gun a bit? Thanks. Reddyredcp (talk) 17:23, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

He said Rhea was the heir, meaning there is currently a living Lord of Runestone. So he claims to be the heir to Runestone, not its lord. And yes to the first question. —Potsk signature (talk) 17:37, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

Supposed personal sigil[]

Has any evidence been presented that the shield Daemon uses in the tourney depicts a personal sigil and is not simply a stylized version of the regular sigil? I think the border of golden flames especially seems to be just a decorative detail?

There are several versions of Baratheon heraldry used for Robert Baratheon, though this wiki does not invent the detail that any of them are personal sigils. Jaehaerys I Targaryen sits beneath a cloth with a silver dragon during the scene of the Great Council yet the wiki does not make the assumption that this is a personal sigil. Shields are never "simply stylized." If something is painted on the face of a shield, it is the bearer's coat of arms. —Potsk signature (talk) 12:58, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
