While I don't think that the artist may have put that much thought into it, I think the images of Daena and Elaena should be reversed. Three girls are depicted in the Maidenvault:
- One reading a copy of the Seven-Pointed Star (probably Rhaena, who was pious).
- One sitting on a chair
- One staring out of the barred window.
Currently, the image of the sister seated on a chair is used as the "Daena" image, and the girl staring out the window is used for "Elaena".
I really think it's the other way around (though the artist may not have thought this out). Daena was "Daena the Defiant" -- constantly escaping from the Maidenvault. Logically, shouldn't she be the one "defiantly" looking out of the bars for a means of escape?--The Dragon Demands (talk) 02:36, July 14, 2014 (UTC)
- I thought the one sitting was Daena because of the angry look on her face.--Gonzalo84 (talk) 03:01, July 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Neither of them looked particularly happy.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 03:18, July 14, 2014 (UTC)
