- We didn't miss anything. While the Martells and Tyrells have been rivals for centuries due to border disputes, in the current generation, the Martells "loathe" the Lannisters, as Cersei put it, specifically because of how Elia Martell was murdered. Tyrion said there'd been bad blood for "years" but not "centuries", and thus was referring to Elia's death.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 17:14, April 7, 2014 (UTC)
