Funeral[]
During John Arryn's funeral in the first episode...what the heck are those seven jars lined up on the pedestal by his head? Ointments? They look almost like organ jars for a pharaoh or something.--The Dragon Demands 23:06, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
- Its a month since I listened but I believe Benioff and Weiss made a similar observation in their commentary for "Winter is Coming." I hadn't noticed them until listening to the commentray. I thought it was funny that even they weren't sure; Gemma Jackson would be the ultimate authority for this aspect of production as the production designer but the set decorator might be more knowledgeable about what they were trying to achieve.--Opark 77 09:03, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

His murder has a plot flaw?[]
This is problematic. Lyssa claims to be his assassin and Peter essentially confirms it but she doesn't leave the Eerie and Jon was poisoned in King's Landing unless the Tears of Lys are a very slow acting poison that takes weeks to act and he could have been poisoned on a visit home and died in the capital? I was going to adjust the section on his death and will have to word it carefully around this plot point. Alatari (talk) 02:53, May 9, 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, Lyssa lived with Jon in King's Landing until she poisoned him. Then she "fled" to the Eyrie where the sent the message to Catelyn that the Lannisters had poisoned Jon. Remember Cat saying: "The Eyrie...? She hasn't been there she her wedding night!" (or something like that). SonOfZeus1200~Peace out. 03:00, May 9, 2014 (UTC)
