How do you know if its the north or south side?--The Dragon Demands 23:36, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

Because of its position relative to the shore. The city projects east into Blackwater Bay.--Opark 77 23:43, June 5, 2012 (UTC)

But the south side of the Red Keep is on the side of KL that borders the river; what could be south of it? (I'm not arguing, its just difficult for my mind to get around the 3 dimensional panoramic view of the city). While I'm on the subject, maps do exist for King's Landing in the books. Should we try using maps on the King's Landing page, considering how much action happens there in the TV show?--The Dragon Demands 00:08, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

The land south of the river is south of the city too. Regarding maps, we could include one in the "In the books" section.--Opark 77 06:54, June 6, 2012 (UTC)

We could juxtapose it with the map Tyrion was reading over that had a good picture of the "Mud Gate" on it; I do think the one they used on-screen was a copy of the one from the books.--The Dragon Demands 07:01, June 6, 2012 (UTC)
