When Jaime moves to pour Roose a cup of wine, Bolton declines saying "I don't partake". Can we then infer that Roose in the TV show is a teetotaler? In the books he's a health freak, and is obsessed with prolonging his life, but he does drink hippocras, which is like mulled wine. He also has himself leeched, and takes prune juice to "move the bowels", but neither of these quirks have been mentioned so far in the show.-- 13:11, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
- An interesting point. I don't see that as too out of keeping with the books; they treat hippocras not so much as an alcoholic beverage to get drunk off of but good for overall health. That being said, a man may prefer the taste of hippocras, yet if you set a tankard of ale before him, he will quaff it quick enough.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 13:32, May 9, 2013 (UTC)
Catelyn doesn't "discover" Roose's mail. He deliberately has her look so he can enjoy her terror. 18.104.22.168 09:28, June 5, 2013 (UTC)
Can someone edit this page for consistency? This page switches between calling him 'Roose' and 'Bolton'. I suggest picking one or the other and sticking to it.22.214.171.124 08:03, June 11, 2013 (UTC)
Rue the day...
When this quote comes up in the show (I hope), we should change his main quote at the top of the page to this. Or, even better, the "peaceful land, a quiet people" quote. --Gladiatus (talk) 13:59, April 30, 2015 (UTC)
