Shouldn't the crests of House Bolton be removed, as they are extinct now? LordofBraxis (talk) 11:10, June 21, 2016 (UTC)

Not yet. Just like Dragonstone was still loyal to House Targaryen after the Sack of King's Landing, the castellen of The Dreadfort (whomever that is) is still presumably loyal to House Bolton though that house is now extinct. Some Stark loyal soldiers need to ride-up and try and take the fort, which will probably hard for them to do considering the massive losses they just took. Plus, who is going to take over the fort?

In short, it is too early to take down the Bolton shields for The Dreafort.

We honestly don't know how it will go on with the Dreadfort, right? Maybe we'll hear in the upcoming episode that the castellan has given up, maybe he'll stay behind the walls. Even the books can't tell us more because in them both Boltons, Roose and Ramsay, are still alive! Maybe another Bolton appears and claims it or another noble house will claim it. I doubt that Jon and Sansa will march to this fortress because it's as hard to conquer like Winterfell, and now they've lost their giant! --Exodianecross (talk) 17:31, June 24, 2016 (UTC)

Don't you think Sansa would be the new overlord of the Dreadfort? Since she did marry Ramsay, wouldn't the remaining garrison of the Dreadfort submit to her rule? PeytoncZoran (talk) 15:38, August 15, 2017 (UTC)
