Categorization[]
I was wondering if someone could categorize this article as "Wall, The." Thanks! — Queen of the Andals and the First Men (talk) 10:52, August 30, 2017 (UTC)
Weather, mostly wind... []
I think that wind should be mentioned as part of the Wall's natural defenses -- looks like it was making Tormund & Jon's ascent in The Climb very difficult. Thoughts? Quiscustodiet (talk) 20:24, October 23, 2018 (UTC)
Conflicting Measurements[]
In the article intro, it states the Wall is 100 leagues long, and converts it into 300 nautical miles, or 556 kilometers. The conversions are all correct, however, later in the article under the "Scale and Unit Conversion" section, it lists its length as 100 leagues and 300 normal miles long, converting those 300 standard miles into 482 kilometers long. Which version is correct? I'm guessing the intro measurements but want confirmation before editing. --Christhewalrus (talk) 00:03, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- My fault, living in a metric-using country and getting confused about all the various definitions of "mile". The use of nautical mile is erroneous as that unit is only used in sea, air, and space navigation. I have corrected the conversion in both sections to 100 leagues = 300 miles = 482.8 kilometers. — (talk) 01:48, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
