"I tried to do as little as possible, because I was kind of aware of the dangers in portraying a character who has a weird way of talking, and who looks kind of weird and who has magical abilities...I just tried to downplay it and kind of think the things that I'm saying."
Tom Wlaschiha on playing Jaqen[1]

Tom Wlaschia (born 20 June, 1973) is a German actor. His ancestors were ethnic Czechs who came to Germany around the beginning of the 19th Century, hence his Czech-sounding surname. He has appeared in films including Enemy at the Gates, Munich, Brideshead Revisited and Valkyrie.

In Game of Thrones he is playing the role of Jaqen H'ghar. He was confirmed in the role on 3 August 2010.[2] He joined the cast as a guest star in the second season.
