"My Blades Are Sharp"
Lord of Game of Thrones Wiki
“I decline to accept the end of man... I refuse to accept this. I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among the creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance. The poet's, the writer's, duty is to write about these things. It is his privilege to help man endure by lifting his heart, by reminding him of the courage and honor and hope and pride and compassion and pity and sacrifice which have been the glory of his past. The poet's voice need not merely be the record of man, it can be one of the props, the pillars to help him endure and prevail.” ― William Faulkner
A little bit about myself
Hi guys, I’m the "Boy Who Cried Direwolf" (When I fist signed up I was known as the "Bastard of Bolton". However, I was advised that my username may prevent me from contributing to other, non-adult orientated wikis in the future, so I changed it.)
I’ve been a long time reader, and admirer of this fine wiki, and with the third season nearly upon us I decided it was high time I gave something back!
There’s really not much to say about me. I'm a 23 year old art student from Great Britain, and I’m a fantasy and sci-fi nerd in general (Tolkein, Star Wars, Star Trek, to name a few). I'm also in love with anything to do with ancient and medieval history, and have been since I was very young. I have been watching Game of Thrones obsessively since the very beginning. Like many of you, I discovered George R. R. Martin’s sublime A Song of Ice and Fire series after I had started watching the show, and am now extremely well versed in both.
I’m also a massive fan of the Elder Scrolls series of video games, and can be found on Wikia's excellent encyclopedia devoted to said series, as well as the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.
That's pretty much it. I'm incredibly excited to finally be a part of this amazing community, and I will do my best to prove worthy of the task. If you need anything from me please don't hesitate to leave a message on my talk-page.
“You will pretend to be a prince,” Lord Ramsay told him. “but we know the truth. You’re Reek. You’ll always be Reek, no matter how sweet you smell... You will be tempted to betray me. To run, or fight, or join our foes. No, quiet, I’ll not hear you deny it. A man would turn against me in your place, but we know what you are, don’t we? Betray me if you want, it makes no matter... but count your fingers first and know the cost...” - Ramsay Bolton, Lord of the Hornwood, Lord of Winterfell, and Heir to the Dreadfort

- Replace all the low-res, rectangular images that are currently being used in many character infoboxes.
Change all incorrect instances of "The Song of Ice and Fire" to "A Song of Ice and Fire".- As of January 11, 2013, I have corrected approximately 1,000 cases. While I don't doubt there are others, I'm satisfied that the vast majority are now correct, and will deal with any survivors if, and when I come across them.
