Game of Thrones Wiki

The Books/The Series

Hello everybody, I have been on this wiki for a couple of days now and I'm enjoying reading articles :)

But I have found a problem however....

I saw on the page "policies and guidelines" that this wiki is for the Game of Thrones TV Show and not the Song of Ice and Fire (The books). Then that is suppose to mean that this wiki should be about the SHOW, NOT about the books. Sure there can be some references or something about them on notes (something small) in articles but when I read articles on this wiki, I read almost 30% of the novels in almost every article (I don't care about it). The first thing I look when I start on a new wiki is to look on its policies/guidelines/rules. When I saw it mentioned about the TV-Show and books I thought that this wiki was going to be about the show but expected like 5% of the novels but I was wrong it seems...

"1) This wiki is meant for the Game of Thrones TV series and the TV "ALONE". Spoilers from the novels are not permitted at all (here is the half the rule for me). Discussion of earlier events in the novels and the use of non-spoiler background material from the novel as regards specific events, characters and places in the TV series are allowed (in the 'In the books' section of an article) but future events cannot be discussed."

I have respect for half of that rule. It´s still the wiki of the TV-show, not the novels. Whoever came up with the idea "In the books" section, weren´t thinking clearly enough. For me personally, it annoys me so much and whoever wants to read more should go to the other wiki about the books. What more is annoying me is that many articles are blocked for editing and that makes me sick. We people who haven´t read the novels and isn´t going to read the novels don´t care so much about "In the Books" section, but that is only what I´m thinking... which comes to this. In my opinion you should delete all the "In the books" sections on all the articles that has one (or EVERY single article...???"). It´s only my opinion... its only my opinion. And don't come and say that I'm inexperienced because I'm not. I have been on many wikis and helped, I am soon finished with my book that I have been working on for two years.

I'm sorry for being rude, ignorant, bad, and I'm sorry for my rude language but I just wanted to say some off my thoughts about the wiki and how it can be improved. I still think its a great wiki and very helpful but come on...

Well, have a good day and thanks for listening (Oh, and I´m from sweden and respect that I can´t write english that good...yet)
