First of all, if you haven't seen the new trailer for Season 3 of HBO's Game of Thrones, you better go watch it immediately!
Now, if you saw the new Season 3 promotional poster that was posted a few days ago, you might have been underwhelmed by its simplicity. If so, you were wrong. Just take a look out how the simple Dragon shadow can be applied to unique advertising:
For Season 4, HBO better step their game up and decorate commercial airplanes to look like Dragons. That is the only way they can trump these!Read more >
Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones) has been casted for an unspecified role in the upcoming Marvel movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Now it's time to speculate on which character he will play! According to Variety, he will play a villain, but one can never be too sure. We know next to nothing about the plot of this film, other than the fact that it's the sequel to X-Men: First Class.
What I'm personally intrigued by is whether Dinklage's small stature will be incorporated into the role (if not a villain, he would most likely play Puck in that case), OR if they will ignore his Dwarfism completely and just give him whatever antagonist role was already in the script. Seven hells! What glorious news for lovers of both craft beer and George R.R. Martin/HBO's Game of Thrones! Brewery Ommegang, located in Cooperstown, New York, has teamed up with HBO to begin releasing Game of Thrones themed beers. It is known!
A new, limited edition Game of Thrones beer will be released every Fall and Spring by Ommegang during the upcoming years, starting with their Iron Throne Blonde Ale, a Lannister-inspired beer (blonde hair, they currently hold the throne, get it?). The ale will be available in limited quantities starting in March, sold in 750ml bottles and 1/6 BBL kegs. At 6.5% ABV, it's still a strong blonde for those of you who like to drink Robert Baratheon-style.

On Saturday, the Florida State University Seminoles football team beat the Clemson University Tigers 49-37 at home in Tallahassee, Florida. But everything on the field was a mummer's farce compared to what was heard in the stands. During a brief break in the action, the FSU marching band created literal and figurative music for our ears....
It's amazing how Brent Musberger asks Kirk Herbstreit, "Does anything surprise you?" right before the song begins. Seven hells that marching band playing the GoT theme definitely surprised me!
May the old gods and the new bless the FSU band.Read more >
