Being an enclycopedic type formalist (why I'm here on this wikia) I must question, then protest the lame use of the word and concept of TAME whereas it pertains to Dragons. I found this paragraph as I was proofreading for errors:
"Dragons can be tamed; Aegon the Conquerer commanded three tame dragons in battle". "The process used to tame them has been lost due to their long absence." I even located on the book wikia a sentence that said a horn could be used to .. "tame" them. This is all so wrong it makes me spit my coffee all over my keyboard.
Starting with the defintion of tame; brought from wildness into a domesticated or tractable state. Tractable? Really? Easily managed or controlled, governable, obedient?

I had wanted to have a live chat about the shock of seeing Jaime's hand chopped off in the last episode of Game of Thrones. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity to chat. I ask about the idea of redemption and if Jaime can or will have it. I was saddened by the mean surprise of his sword hand being chopped off, he couldn't even defend himself. When he manipulated the stopping of the rape with the great warrior woman, I saw revealed a deeper sense of compassion and honor. For me, this was redemptive. Is this an irony of the story? That we get what we deserve? Having his hand cut off kills him, it takes away any personal power he had, or will ever have.
