Wait, they cut Arianne Martell? But then... who is "character not named due to not appearing in the show yet" going to marry to secure an alliance with Dorne in book 6/season 7-8? Or are they going to cut him too? This change makes no sense. Why not cut Trystane Martell? He was little more than filler in the books. Arianne comes to have a huge role, on par with Sansa or Arya.
And yes, not mentioning Tysha at all really threw me for a loop. So did no one calling Robb out for sending his entire army to an early grave for a... pardon my language... piece of ass. The book's "preserving her honour" made infinitely more sense.
One minor detail that really bugs me in the show that could easily be fixed... the characters' appearances. Seriously, would it kill them to dye Peter Dinklage's and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's hair blonde, or wear a wig? Or dye Emilia Clarke's and Lena Headey's eyebrows blonde? Whenever they're on all I can focus on is that their hair is blonde, but their eyebrows pitch black. Minor details that could easily be fixed. Contacts for the proper eye colour would be nice, but some people find it hard to focus when using them, so that's fine.
