External sites... definitely! That's exactly what I wanted for the Affiliates section when I made it :) Any help would be appreciated and I do like that Woodmark. Thank you! QueenBuffy 18:19, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
GoT Awards Edit
Oh, I like that! Very neat and looks like fun. Thanks for thinking about us :) QueenBuffy 18:40, August 16, 2013 (UTC)
Parent Filter Edit
Hi Grace! I will be more than happy to take a look at it and fill out the information. If I have any questions or need help, I will definitely ask. Thanks! QueenBuffy 22:11, September 17, 2013 (UTC)
- Didn't take long before I got stumped. lol Do the pages have to be exactly like the Destinypedia example or is there some generic/most important sections we should start with? QueenBuffy 03:34, September 19, 2013 (UTC)
Sounds interesting! Let's see it. QueenBuffy 20:51, January 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Sure thing. The only thing that concerned me, was on the main page. The video shows a spoiler right away. (On Tyrion's image) QueenBuffy 17:47, January 16, 2014 (UTC)
Fan vs. Critic Edit
Hi Grace! Sounds good to me! Definitely a great way to get people talking/discussing Game of Thrones. QueenBuffy 22:34, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
Season 4 premiere server strainEdit
Page load speed has dropped off to practically nothing and we're only two days before the Season 4 premiere. Becoming difficult to even navigate pages, much less make final edits. Anything the tech boys can do to help at Wikia's end?--The Dragon Demands (talk) 00:31, April 5, 2014 (UTC)
- I think this only happened due to having seven million unique visitors on premiere night. The problem has not recurred.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 17:01, April 14, 2014 (UTC)

Front page redesignEdit
I have redesigned the front page of the wiki with collapsible menus. Hopefully this will create more "access points" for the casual TV-first viewers who might not even know we had an article on "Heraldry" or "the Iron Bank of Braavos".--The Dragon Demands (talk) 15:47, April 16, 2014 (UTC)
Fan vs. Critic VideoEdit
Yeah, you can put it on the front page. I don't mind at all.Greater Good 17:23, April 16, 2014 (UTC)
Well okay go ahead: http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Season_4#Fan_vs_Critic
Page popularity toolEdit
Some Wikis have tools that list the most popular pages by viewcount. Is such a tool located on this wiki? I don't know where it is. I do assume that the episode articles and major characters like "Jon Snow" or "Tyrion Lannister" are the most popular by viewcount, but it's nice to know.
QueenBuffy mentioned something about our weekly overall number of site hits during Season 4 finale week being around 8 million or so. What tool was used to determine this? (I'd like to check on my own how many visits were getting in the off-season.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 18:27, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
The new in-article advertisements are displaying a little oddly. First they appeared at the top of articles, and that was one thing given that it's a margin already...now they're randomly inserting into the body of articles, sometimes cutting sentences in half. Or at the top of a sub-section where we're using quotes. I assume this is a work in progress and we'll just see how it turns out.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 18:27, July 12, 2014 (UTC)
New wiki skinEdit
Hello, thank you for your help with our attempts to make a new wiki skin. I thought Werthead would get around to setting up a new one when Season 4 began, as in the past we've had a new one with each new season. At any rate, we're discussing new design ideas over here: http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:New_Skin_ideas
- No worries, we saw that the file was directing to the older skin image so went ahead and fixed it. It looks like you guys aren't 100% set on the design yet? If you'd like, you can put in a design request for our team over at Community Central on this page, and someone on our team can come up with something nice for the community :) Grace (profile)•(talk) 17:00, August 7, 2014 (UTC)
- At the least, I'm trying to load this up as a placeholder: http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/File:PostSeason4ThronesWikiSkinMark7.jpg
Wiki Skin Edit
I actually sent a request in a few days ago, but haven't heard anything back. I also sent in a sample idea with some Season 4 promo shots from EW Magazine. (I think they are very professional and have a more updated feel) QueenBuffy 17:07, August 8, 2014 (UTC)
- No worries, just wanted to let everyone know I was on it. :) QueenBuffy 17:09, August 8, 2014 (UTC)
GOT Community AppEdit
Hey, Dragon! Wikia is in the process of working on a Game of Thrones Wiki community app and we could really use your help! Would you or the other admins mind helping us curate categories for the GOT Community App? The curation lives on this page and there are instructions on there for adding/removing categories that will appear in the app itself. Let me know if you have any questions! P.S. The page says Game Guides right now but that will change eventually! Grace (profile)•(talk) 21:30,
I apologize on not getting back to you on this in the past day, it's the first week of school again for me.
Yes, this looks useful and fun, but I have no experience with this. Is the community map for iPhones and iPads? (I have worried about how the wiki looks on mobile devices because I don't tend to use them: I write a lot, so I need a laptop conducive to typing, not just viewing....but I know many hundreds of people must certainly just use their iPhone when watching the episodes on their TV).
Do you have an example of how this was used on another Wiki? What sort of categories are we adding? Our own categories?
Wait, I found it: http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Game_Guides

Vote of No Confidence in Adam Whitehead (Werthead)Edit
I have initiated a Vote of No Confidence in Adam Whitehead (Werthead), intending to remove him as head Administrator of Game of thrones Wiki, as well as strip him of all rank and office (including Administrator status here).
This also entails denying him a place at the NYCC Wikia Game of Thrones Panel. He does not represent us anymore. This began when he went to C2E2 earlier this year.
Are you aware that Adam has made under 40 edits to the wiki since the Season 4 premiere on April 6th this year?
Are you also aware that Adam's counterargument, open counterargument, is that yes, his writing on his private blog officially takes precedence over spending more time on Game of Thrones Wiki. And we should accept this.
He also said that he hasn't contributed as much because the show airs later in England...despite the fact that two out of our other five Administrators also live in the British Isles (one is also in England, the other in Ireland). Nor does this explain why he would disappear for over a month on multiple occasions during the off-season.
Are you aware that Adam has made only five edits to the wiki since the Season 4 finale three months ago?
I have already contacted the other four Administrators (besides myself and Werthead), days before I made this post. All of them were either directly supportive of removing Adam from his position, or at least indifferent. He has no strong support here anymore.
I've also noticed that there came a point in Season 4 when the Wikia Staff started contacting the other Administrators on their Talk pages for various Wiki-Projects, not even bothering to try to contact Adam through his Talk page anymore. While there is the possibility that you were discussing things with him in e-mail...I have also contacted the Wikia Staff once or twice via e-mail, but they did not continue to discuss side projects with me in that fashion. Or, they'd shoot me a message on my Talk page saying "check your e-mail".
Adam shouldn't even have gone to C2E2, we just didn't know if we should complain at the time. He functionally stopped being an active Administrator after Season 2 ended. He has made under 700 edits in the past two years.
Adam Whitehead must lose all Administrator privileges on Game of Thrones Wiki.
In addition, I want him thrown off of the NYCC 2014 panel. He can still attend in the audience as any other private citizen could. If you do revoke his privilege, and he ignores it and attempts to claim VIP status when I go to the same panel this Thursday, I respectfully ask your permission to quietly and politely ask the convention Security staff to forcibly remove him from the panel.--The Dragon Demands (talk) 19:35, October 7, 2014 (UTC)
By a unanimous vote of five to zero, with no abstainments, the assembled Administrators of Game of Thrones Wiki have concluded that Adam Whitehead (Werthead) is to be stripped of all rank and office on this wiki, including his status as a basic Administrator.
Please take what measures are needed to remove his Bureaucrat status from this wiki, as well as his Administrator status.
Meanwhile, as per the vote page discussion, User:Gonzalo84, User:QueenBuffy, and myself, need to be elevated to Bureaucrat status. Rather than replace Werthead with one person, we are going to share power as a three-person "Triarchy" (just as other large wikis like Wookiepedia or Memory Alpha have multiple Bureaucrats).
Vote for New BureaucratsEdit
Hi, Brandon said the vote officially went through and I see that QueenBuffy, Gonzalo84, and I have Bureaucrat status now.
I was wondering if we could customize the title on your profile, just as "Administrator" displays as "Knight" on here.
I tried customizing it by creating this:
There's three of us so we're calling the rank "Triarch" (Volantis in the TV series is ruled by a "Triarchy" of three elected Triarchs - this will be showing up in Season 5).
