"I realized when Varys tells how his genitals were removed, he says "With a hooked blade, he sliced me". Now I know Ramsay didn't cut Varys, but Ramsay used a hooked blade to slice Theon's genitals off. Ironic much?"
- "Irony - (noun) A statement that, when taken in context, may actually mean something different from, or the opposite of what is written literally; the use of words expressing something other than their literal intention, notably as a form of humor."
That isn't what the word "ironic" means.
The in-episode guide explained that when Ramsay uses the hooked blade to castrate Theon, the propsmaster actually made it based on drawings of historical knives used for this purpose in the middle ages.
You need something along the lines of a 10th grade vocabulary to contribute to this wiki.
