Varly is a minor character in Game of Thrones. He is played by guest star Graham Charles and only appears in the seventh episode of the first season.
Varly is a guardsman sworn to House Stark.
Season 1
Varly accompanies Eddard Stark south when he becomes the Hand of the King. He leads Eddardfollowing the death of Jory Cassel. He warns the Royal Steward to stay back when he surprises them in the corridor. He accompanies Eddard to the throne room to confront Joffrey Baratheon. He is killed by men of the City Watch when they betray Eddard.[1]
